Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee Adam Hess and prolific stand-up, writer, and sketch comedian Glenn Moore (Mock The Week, BBC Two) are set to embark on a double-headed UK tour, performing their critically acclaimed comedy from 9th February to 3rd May.
Known for his incredibly high joke rate, Adam Hess has previously taken three celebrated shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Salmonearning him a Best Newcomer nomination in 2015, 2016’s Father enjoying a run at the Fringe, and his most recent show Cactus generating critical praise across the board in 2017.
Delivering equally joke-packed comedy masterpieces, Glenn Moore’s debut show Glengarry Glen Glenn was nominated for Best Debut Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2016, and his latest show The Very Best of Belinda Carlisle enjoyed sell-out audiences at 2017’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
On TV and radio, Adam has appeared on Tonight at the Palladium (ITV), Count Arthur Strong (BBC One), Live from the BBC (BBC Two), The Chris Ramsey Show (Comedy Central), Don’t Make Me Laugh (BBC Radio 4), Comedy Up Late (ABC), and was a staff writer on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Two). He also filmed an episode of Drunk History, which didn’t make it to air because he got too drunk (even for Comedy Central). Along with Lolly Adefope, Mat Ewins, Richard Gadd, John Kearns, Fin Taylor and Matt Winning, Adam is one of the creators of the cult hit Bearpit Podcast (Podcast). As well as the Edinburgh Fringe, Adam has performed at festivals around the world including Melbourne International Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival and Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival.
This September saw Glenn Moore make his Mock The Week debut after previously contributing material for the show on BBC Two. His other writing credits include the CITV sketch comedy show Scrambled, Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three), The Mash Report (BBC Two), and Play to the Whistle (ITV). He is heard every day on the Christian O’ConnellBreakfast Show on Absolute Radio and frequently appears on BBC Radio 4. Glenn has been heard on Radio X as a news reader alongside Vernon Kay, Johnny Vaughan and Ricky Wilson and has supported Dave Gorman, Lee Nelson, and Josie Long on their UK tours. Glenn is one half of the critically-acclaimed sketch comedy duo Thunderbards, who have been described by GQ as ‘Without question one of the funniest sketch groups on the Fringe’. They’ve performed on BBC Radio 4’s Sketchorama and BBC Scotland’s McAuley And Co.
