Tickets for Dave Chappelle's three intimate gigs in London next weekend sold out as soon as they went on sale this morning.
The US stand-up superstar announced the three shows in London next weekend at Proud Camden, Leicester Square Theatre and Up The Creek yesterday and tickets went on sale at 10am this morning. They are billed as work-in-progress shows.
Within minutes fans were posting their disappointment on social media.
Film journalist Chris Hewitt wrote: "All tickets to see Dave Chappelle in Greenwich next week sold out while my Ticketmaster page was loading. Cue world's smallest violin!"
Photographer @Delliss777 wrote: "@DaveChappelle uk tickets sold out as fast as a fart leaving your ass I’m fucking gutted."
Comedian and presenter @AurieStyla was luckier: "And I got mine! So I’m nice! Congrats to @UTCComedyclub for getting this! @DaveChappelle doing The Creek is massive!
