An International Women's Day stand-up gig supporting the work of Oxfam has been cancelled in the light of the current allegations surround the charity.

Performers including Kerry Godliman, Mae Martin, Jayde Adams, Rosie Jones and Sindhu Vee were due to appear at the Leicester Square Theatre on March 8.

An Oxfam spokesperson has said: "We decided to cancel because we don’t feel it is appropriate at the moment. In the current climate we feel it would be inappropriate to hold our comedy night.”

Ticketholders have been advised to contact the venue for refunds.
