The line-up has been revealed for The Comedians at the Kings. The two nights of gigs at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow as part of the Glasgow Comedy Festival will be a showcase for experienced comedians who do not regularly feature on mainstream television at the moment (though some names should certainly be familiar from television). The shows, the brainchild of award-winning London stand-up John Moloney, are going to be filmed with a view to screening them on television at a later date.
The performers so far announced are Moloney, Fred MacAuley, Jo Caulfield, Janey Godley, Richard Herring, Gary Little, Michael Redmond, Raymond & Mr Timkins, Mary Bourke, Brain Higgins, Otiz Cannelloni, Ninia Benjamin, Mark Maier, Jo Enright, Nick Wilty, Eddy Brimson, Addy Van Der Borgh, Sol Bernstein, Trevor Crook, Paul Ricketts, Andy Askins and Jojo Sutherland.
There are more names to be announced and it has not been specified who will be playing on each night. Fans are advised to buy tickets for both nights. The gigs take place on March 20 & 21.
