Mo Gilligan is a busy man. In the last year his online clips have gone viral, he has filmed a C4 pilot with Big Narstie and has had to keep extending his #couplacans tour due to phenomenal demand. He is doing 20 shows at the Leicester Square Theatre from this month as well as a national tour. He seems like a nice guy too – he took his mum to see Seal at the Palladium – and could well be the next big thing. He recently did the Teenage Cancer Trust comedy night at the Royal Albert Hall and more than held his own on a bill that also included Greg Davies and Dara O Briain. It's mainstream observational comedy, painting thumbnail sketches of the kind of people you meet on the street, in clubs or at weddings. There's even a hint of Peter Kay there. It's very funny. Catch him now before he gets massive.
