A UK release date has been confirmed for Swimming With Men, the new feelgood film starring Rob Brydon.

The film closed the Edinburgh International Film Festival on July 1 and will on general release on July 6.

In the film, directed by Oliver Parker, Brydon plays an accountant who copes with his mid-life crisis by joining an all-male synchronised swimming group. Eventually the disparate group of men bonds and heads to Milan to compete in the World Synchronised Swimming Championships...

The cast includes Adeel Akhtar, Jim Carter, Rupert Graves, Daniel Mays, Charlotte Riley, Thomas Turgoose, Jane Horrocks and Nathaniel Parker.
