Comedy Central UK has launched a brand new short-form series ‘Fin Taylor Plays Bullshit Bingo’ across the channel’s social media platforms.
In this topical short form series, comedian Fin Taylor is on a mission to call bullshit on the hot air surrounding some of the biggest issues of today. ‘Fin Taylor plays Bullshit Bingo’ sees Fin cover a different hot topic in every episode, interviewing passionate individuals on one side of a particular debate. However, unbeknownst to the interviewees, Fin has a Bingo card filled with relevant clichés, contradictions and buzzwords that he’s hoping his interviewees will say so he can tick them off his score card.
Throughout the series, Fin is armed with comically confusing questions and his sharp wit, resulting in a hilarious gameshow that real life contestants don’t even realise they are playing! Fin tackles some of the most controversial topics of today including Brexit, Feminism, Veganism and even the ‘snowflake’ generation.
‘Fin Taylor Plays Bullshit Bingo’ debuted with the first episode, all about Jeremy Corbyn in April, with six further episodes being released on Comedy Central UK’s YouTube, Facebook and Instagram weekly from 11th May.
Fin Taylor’s most recent shows at the Edinburgh Fringe were both sell-out word of mouth hits (2016’s Whitey McWhiteface & 2017’s Lefty Tighty Righty Loosey), cementing his reputation as the festival’s must-see political comedian. He’s made a name for himself as a “politically homeless” comic – straddling the center across increasingly polarised political rifts – making him the perfect host to tear apart the inconsistencies on both sides of topical debates. He has made multiple appearances on Radio 6 Music, Absolute Radio and Radio X, has appeared in Comedy Central UK’s Roast Battle, and has taken part in the prestigious Melbourne Comedy Festival 2018. Fin Taylor is back at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018 with a brand new, fantastically provocative show When Harassy Met Sally.
