People Just Do Nothing's Steve Stamp and Allan Mustafa are reported to be teaming up with Skins creator Bryan Elsley to work on a new comedy set in the world of virtual reality.

According to Deadline Stamp and Mustafa plus director Jack Clough are working on a new project called Gary1987, which tells the story of unemployed, naive Gary, who gets involved in the VR world to make money and ends up over his head. 

Stamp and Mustafa (pictured second and third from left) play DJ Steves and MC Grindah in the award-winning People Just Do Nothing, which returns for its fifth and final series later this year. They have just announced a live tour for the Kurupt FM crew whcih will coincide with the final series.
