Jack Whitehall and his father Michael are due to return soon to netflix for a second series of Travels with My Father.

Whitehall has posted this picture of himself and his father on Twitter explaining what is going on: "This is me and @fatherwhitehall at a clown festival in Odessa. Pale face, red nose and huge grumpy frown. Then we applied some make up to daddy".

Whitehall has also become embroiled in a debate over is his casting as what has been reported to be Disney's first openly gay character, in the film The Jungle Cruise alongside Emily Blunt and The Rock. Whitehall is straight and some people have commented that the role should have gone to an  LGBT+ actor.
