The transmission date has been confirmed for the seventh series of award-winning show Taskmaster.

The series, once again hosted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne, will return to Dave on Wednesday, September 5th at 9pm. The second episode will be available online on the UKTV Play website from 10pm on the same night.

The five celebrity contestants taking part will be James Acaster, Jessica Knappett, Phil Wang, Kerry Godliman and Rhod Gilbert.

The first episode is not currently available for preview but we have been told that Velcro is key, tape is vital and bean juice is crucial.

In the final episode of series six Liza Tarbuck was crowned Taskmaster Champion.
