Acclaimed stand-up superstar Russell Howard is to headline a major fundraiser for the National Autistic Society later this year.
Award-winning comedian and presenter Matt Richardson will be hosting the night that also features top comedians Iain Stirling, Angela Barnes, Joe Wilkinson, Adam Hess, Stephen Bailey and Ken Cheng. This very special show will take place at the Union Chapel, Islington on November 12.
Matt Richardson has worked his magic to bring some of the funniest acts together to bring you a night guaranteed to make you belly laugh. Best known for co-hosting the Xtra Factor alongside Caroline Flack and Celebrity Haunted Mansion with Christine Lampard, Matt has also appeared on primetime shows Celebrity Juice and Never Mind The Buzzcocks and currently hosts Virgin Radio’s drive-time show.
Matt has an autistic younger brother, Alex, and knows how crucial getting the right support from an early age is for autistic people, which is why he is raising funds for the National Autistic Society. He says: “I hope that by sharing my personal experiences of autism and raising funds for the charity, I might be able to change a few attitudes so more autistic people get the support and understanding they deserve.”
The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people.
Tickets are on sale now and all funds raised will go directly to the National Autistic Society.
