Comedians Bob Mortimer and Les Dennis are two of the latest batch of stars to settle phone-hacking claims at the High Court.

and former boxer Frank Bruno are among the latest list of well-known names to settle phone-hacking claims at the High Court.

16 cases, also including former boxer Frank Bruno, singer Samuel Preston and Coronation Street star Kym Marsh are listed to be aired before Mr Justice Mann.

Their lawyers are to read out statements on their behalf giving details of settlement of their claims against publisher News Group Newspapers.

Jim Moir – aka comedian Vic Reeves – settled his case over phone-hacking allegations just before it went to court earlier this year.

Mortimer has recently enjoyed huge acclaim for his TV series with Paul Whitehouse, Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing. Watch it on iPlayer here. A second series has been commissioned. Ironically the tapping of phones has sometimes been described as "fishing expeditions".
