Comedian Amy Schumer has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.

The stand-up and movie star posted a picture of her husband Chris Fischer and herself edited onto an image of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan which gave fans a clue.

But it was on journalist Jessica Yellin's Instagram account that the news was confirmed. Yellin posted Schumer's recommendations for the upcoming US midterm elections and then the post ended with "I'm pregnant - Amy Schumer".
