Comedian Duncan Oakley's appeal to get the stolen hard drives containing two decades of work has gone viral.
The clip, in which he offers to trade a stuffed dog for the hard drives, has been viewed almost 100,000 times after it was shared repeatedly on Facebook.
Musical comedian Oakley, who lives in Nottingham and was voted Best Act in The Midlands Comedy Awards in 2016, was burgled in the middle of the night last week shortly after he had returned home after a gig and gone to bed. In the clip he holds up the toy and says: "Of all the things you could have taken you left with us with this. Thank you for that. My son loves this annoying hound."
The dog then starts singing.
"If you post my hard drives through the door you can have this."
