Major Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows have been announced for Daniel Sloss, Jimeoin and Craig Hill.
Tickets for all three shows go on sale this Thursday, January 31, at 10am.
Daniel Sloss will be breaking his ever-expanding tour to bring his acclaimed show X at the prestigious Edinburgh Playhouse in August. Sloss has become a regular fixture at the Edinburgh Fringe over the last decade and since the last Festival he has become more popular than ever following the success of his two Netflix specials Dark and Jigsaw. Sloss is supported by special guest Kai Humphries.
Jimeoin will be returning to the Pleasance at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre for the Fringe run of his show Ramble On!. The Irishman from Australia is one of live comedy’s true masters. He has appeared on shows including ‘Live at the Apollo’ and ‘Conan’ as well as ‘Sunday Night at the Palladium’ and ‘Royal Variety Performance’. This is his 26th festival.
In 1993 Jimeoin pioneered BSL interpreted solo comedy shows on the fringe. These shows are now firmly established as favourites with both his hearing and hearing-impaired audiences. Two performances will again be BSL interpreted this year by long-term collaborator Catherine King (MITI/MRSLI) on Saturday 17 & Thursday 22 August, 8.40pm.
Craig Hill will also be at the Pleasance at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre from August 2 - 25 with his 21st festival show.
Fresh from making his New York off-Broadway solo debut, Hill is famous for his cheeky, irreverent and high-octane performances. His razor-sharp improvisation and his unsurpassed audience rapport combine brilliantly for a unique hour of pure, unadulterated fun. Hill will also be doing BSL interpreted shows - details below.
Hill has previously performed in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. He has appeared at the London Palladium, hosted a specially created alternative variety show Craig Hill’s Forbidden Vaudeville for Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and was UK Ambassador for the inaugural Montreux Comedy Festival’s Joke Nation. He won the recent UK show Impossible Celebrities, and has numerous BBC TV series to his name.
