The Lowdown on Comedy
Children's TV star Mya-Lecia Naylor has died suddenly. She was 16.
Her agents A&J Management have confirmed that Naylor, the CBBC star who appeared in the children's British sitcom Millie Inbetween and the pop music comedy Almost Never, died on 7 April after collapsing. They said she was "hugely talented and a big part of A&J" and that they would "miss her greatly". There are no details of the cause of death.
CBBC announced the news on social media: "We are so sorry to have to tell you that Mya-Lecia, who you will know from “Millie Inbetween” and “Almost Never” has, very sadly, died. Mya-Lecia was a much loved part of the BBC Children’s family, and a hugely talented actress, singer and dancer. We will miss her enormously and we are sure that you will want to join us in sending all our love to her family and friends.
