Stewart Lee is doing a run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

These will be work-in-progress shows – called "wok in progress" on the Edinburgh Fringe website – developing ideas and material for his next major show which opens in London this autumn. 

The shows will be at the The Stand's New Town Theatre Grand Hall from August 9 - 15 at 7.10pm. The performances will last an unorthodox one hour and ten minutes. Most Edinburgh Fringe shows run for a maximum of an hour.

Lee will also be performing at a special show in London where the acclaimed documentary about Chris Morris, Oxide Ghosts, will also be screened. This one-off will be at new east London arts centre EartH on Friday, June 14, but this is already sold out. Check with the venue on the off chance that someone will change their mind and hand back their tickets here.
