Filthy, funny podcast Joan and Jericha and My Dad Wrote A Porno are both winners at the 2019 British Podcast Awards.
Joan and Jericha, the sppof sexual advice series fronted by Julia Davis and Vicki Pepperdine won the Best Comedy Podcast supported by Spotify category. The judges said: “In going to the places that everyday conversation rarely goes, Julia Davis and Vicky Pepperdine have not only captured the spirit of the medium with Joan and Jericha, they have rendered us absolutely helpless with laughter. Bravo.”
The Beef and Dairy Network podcast bagged the silver award and The All New Angelos And Barry Podcast was bronze.
My Dad Wrote A Porno is Podcast Champion 2019, following a year that culminated in the first podcast to have their own HBO special, which was recently broadcast on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
