Comedian Daniel Sloss is to play a major show in Moscow in front of 3500 fans.
The gig will take place on November 23 this year at the capital city's Music Media Dome, making Sloss one of the few UK comedians to perform in Russia. Eddie Izzard and Dylan Moran are also among the select band that have previously performed in Russia, but this latest show, in which Sloss will perform his latest show X, may even be the biggest solo gig a UK stand-up has ever done in the former Soviet Union.
Sloss will not be doing a crash course in Russian though. He will be performing in English with a simultaneous translation. Fans can wear headphones they are all given coming in.
This gig is the result of the continuing global success of his two Netflix stand-up specials, Jigsaw and Dark.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 31 at 1pm local time. Link here.
Sloss has also just added a third date for X at the Edinburgh Playhouse this summer due to demand. The new gig will take place on Saturday, August 17. For details click here.
