News: Big Wins For Susie McCabe At Scottish Comedy Awards
Comedian Susie McCabe was the big winner at the Scottish Comedy Awards sponsored by Happier Beauty.
McCabe picked up Best Headliner and Best Solo Show for her full-length show Domestic Disaster. McCabe is taking the show to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. Dates and details here.
Other winners included Gavin Mitchell who plays Robert "Boaby The Barman" Taylor in Still Game who picked up Best Actor.
Kevin Bridges won Best Event for his epic run of shows at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow.
Jay Lafferty won Best Compere.
Billy Kirkwood won Best Radio Comedian for his Breakfast show on West FM.
The Scottish Comedy Awards were started 6 years ago in response to no Scottish nominees at the now defunct British Comedy Awards.
