The date has been revealed for Katherine Ryan's latest Netflix show.

Ryan's most recent stand-up show Glitter Room will be streamed globally from July 1.

The is the Canadian comedian's acclaimed set in which, among other things, she celebrated being a single mother. The title comes from the style of room she decided she wanted for her home in north London. She toured the show extensively to great acclaim and had a run at London's Garrick Theatre that had to be extended due to demand.

Ryan wrote on Instagram: "Glitter Room is about buying my first home with my daughter & all the renovations builders who felt sad for us because I wanted a rose gold kitchen & wasn’t married."

This is Ryan's second Netflix stand-up show following the success of In Trouble. She is also currently working on a comedy series for the network entitled The Duchess, in which she will play a “fashionably disruptive single mom” whose daughter, Olive, is her greatest love and who is debating having a second child with her greatest enemy, Olive’s dad.

Ryan is also due to appear on the new BBC Two series of Who Do You Think You Are? and is on The One Show on June 19.
