Absolute Radio has announced a major comedy gig on Sunday 24th November raising money for Stand Up To Cancer.
Following last year’s hugely successful event hosted by Frank Skinner, the comedian will be returning to hosting duties once again. Frank, who hosts his own show on the station every Saturday from 8am said “It’s an incredible line-up this year as it is every year. It's all for Stand Up To Cancer so when you go and buy those tickets you’re not just going to see a comedy show, you are doing a good deed.”
Confirmed performers include Mock the Week host Dara Ó Briain. The brilliant Jo Brand will also perform on the night, along with the new The Apprentice: You’re Fired host, Tom Allen. Absolute Radio presenters and comedians Matt Forde (Rock n Roll Football) and Glenn Moore (The Dave Berry Breakfast Show) also star, following their acclaimed Edinburgh Festival shows. Comedian and ‘After Life’ actor Kerry Godliman also joins the line-up, along with Britain’s Got Talent stand-out star, Kojo Anim.
Tickets to Absolute Radio Live with Holiday Inn, in aid of Stand Up To Cancer are on sale from 9am on 6th September 2019, priced at £47.50 / £37.50 / £27.50 plus fees at https://absoluteradio.co.uk/comedy
