Michael Barrymore is to make a primetime comeback on ITV1's next series of Dancing on Ice.
The former light entertainment superstar, now 67, has not been a regular face on television for more than a decade. In 2001 party guest Stuart Lubbock was found dead in his swimming pool.
Earlier this year Barrymore appeared on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories and apologised for Lubbock's death, which he was never charged with.
He was most famous for his anarchic performances fronting the game show Strike It Lucky and in 2006 he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4.
