Once there was Henry Root, the fictional creation who wrote irate letters to celebrities and printed their polite replies. Now there is Wilf Turnbull and Derek Philpott, two OAPs from Bournemouth who write to pop stars taking them to task for their absurd lyrics and odd outfits. Ex-Police drummer Stewart Copeland and Toyah Wilcox are among those who have sportingly responded. They have had less success with Jimi Hendrix, but that may be because he died in 1970. Their latest project is a series of polite heavy metal abum covers. Here's their Led Zep safety first version. Click here to see what they've done to the likes of Deep Purple, AC/DC, Kiss, Bon Jovi and more.
