Following their Dave's Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show nomination, sketch duo The Delightful Sausage set out on their first-ever national tour.
Ginster’s Paradise is Amy Gledhill and Chris Cantrill's third show and their tour kicks off with an 11-date run at London’s Soho Theatre.
Gledhill and Cantrill have been performing together since 2017. In this short time they’ve quickly developed a cult following and reputation for creating comedy which is "absurd, incredibly northern and deeply unsettling".
They’ve both been selected for the BBC’s Comedy Room initiative which develops new comedy writers. In 2018, Amy was awarded the prestigious Caroline Aherne bursary which was conceived to help develop northern comedians. They’ve written for Channel 4, BBC Radio 4 Extra, BBC3, Cbeebies and CBBC. You can see/hear them on BBC3, BBC 4 Extra. On November 8th they’re making their TV debut on Channel 4’s new show, Harry Hill’s Clubnite.
The duo who have quickly developed a reputation for mind-bending surreal comedy and flat northern vowels.
