Eshaan Akbar, Sunil Patel and Nim Odreda are to host a brand new BBC Asian Network podcast in which top notch guests talk about their roots and who they are in a funny and revealing way....
"But...Where are you really from?" It's a question that all Asian people have been asked - in this podcast it is a jumping off point into the hilarious history of top comedy guests.
'Proper' Asians Eshaan Akbar and Nim Odedra plus self-described coconut Sunil Patel will discover just how 'Desi' their guests are with a series of scenarios and challenges.
"But...Where are you really from?" will be available to download on BBC Sounds with episode one, featuring comedian and host of the podcast ‘No Country for young Women’ Sadia Azmat.
Further guests in the series will include Nihal Arthanayake, Sindhu Vee, Ahir Shah, Anjli Mohindra and Kae Kurd.
Whitechapel-born former banker and government policy advisor-turned-comedian Akbar recently became the first stand-up comedian of Bengali heritage to appear on Mock The Week.
