American network Fox is developing a version of BBC hit This Country.
Deadline reports that it will be a single-camera comedy and will still follow a documentary crew who this time go to a small American town rather than a Cotswold village to study young people there. This time the cousins are called Kelly and Shrub Mallet.
Jenny Bicks, who wrote The Big C and The Greatest Showman, will be executive producer alongside Bridesmaids and A Simple Favor director Paul Feig, who will also direct. Original creators/stars Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper will also be executive producers.
The US cast has not yet been announced.
