Ricky Gervais has been the big winner in this year's I Talk Telly Awards, scooping three prizes in the public vote.

He won Best Comedy Performance for his role in After Life and the acclaimed Netflix series also won Best New Comedy, while the scene in which a schoolboy is called "you tubby little ginger c**t" won Moment of the Year.

Other winners included Derry Girls which won Best Returning Comedy. Johnny Vegas and Sian Gibson won Best Comedy Partnership for the Gold one-off film Death on the Tyne. And Katherine Ryan won Best Stand Up Special for Glitter Room (Netflix).
