American broadcaster CBS has ordered a pilot of We The Jury, the sitcom written by comedian James Acaster.

We The Jury originally went out as a one-off as part of a pilots series on BBC2 in 2016, but a series was not commissioned in the UK.

According to Deadline this new pilot will be made by 9JKL co-creator Dana Klein, writer Stephanie Darrow, original producers Big Talk and CBS. 

The cast of the original version included Diane Morgan, Ed Easton, Kenneth Collard, Sophie Thompson and Vivienne Acheampong.
