After a phenomenal response from their fans, Chris and Rosie Ramsey have broken the record for the world’s biggest live podcast audience ever by selling out their hometown of Newcastle’s Utilita Arena as well as selling out their whole Shagged Married Annoyed. live podcast tour within just 60 minutes of going on sale.
After selling out the pre-sale allocation in just 2 minutes on Thursday morning, tickets went on general sale on Friday morning and over 19,000 tickets were snapped up in just 60 minutes, including a staggering 9,028 at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, a new world record for a live podcast event. The smash hit podcast, which launched early last year, regularly hits No. 1 on the download charts and has reached a staggering 18 million downloads worldwide to date.
In the same vein as their weekly podcast, Chris and Rosie will be chatting all about life, relationships, arguments, annoyances, parenting, growing up and everything in between, but all in front of a live audience.
In response to being a record breaker and selling out so quickly, Chris and Rosie said, “We are absolutely blown away by the demand for tickets for this tour, they have flown out and everyone is so excited, including us! Rosie actually had to have a little lie down... true story.”
Performances start on Thursday 3rd September at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre and finish on Sunday 27th September at London’s Adelphi Theatre.

Rosie’s additional on screen credits include interviewing WWE Superstar John Cena and Hollywood actor Lesley Mann for The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central.
