Daniel Sloss's critically acclaimed stand-up show X is to be screened in cinemas in Australia. The screenings will take place on 25th March in six venues which are part of Palace Cinemas, Australia's leading independent cinema chain.
This follows successful screenings of the stand-up show in Vue cinemas all over the UK in February.
Performing off the back of an already glistening comedy career, Sloss’s record-breaking tenth solo show, and third comedy film, delivers a unique satire on the uncomfortable topics of modern society. Replacing the expected script from male comedians on modern society’s polarising conversations, Sloss offers insights on toxic masculinity, gender and sexuality that are at once deliciously dark, hilarious and profound.
Following a sell-out world tour encompassing 300 performances across 40 countries in 18 months, Sloss’s self-directed show stamps another hallmark on a record already defined by comedy specials on Netflix and HBO. X aired on HBO in America and Canada in autumn 2019.
The show was filmed in front of a sold-out crowd at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, Australia.
Daniel Sloss has recently announced dates for his new show HUBRIS. Details here.
