News: Jim Jefferies Extends UK Tour

Jim Jefferies has added a second show at the O2 Academy Brixton on July 31. This follows the announcement of a one-off at the same venue on August 1 which sold out in record time and a gig at the Manchester Apollo on August 2.

The controversial Australian comedian has recently been working in America where he starred in his own sitcom for the FX channel, entitled Legit, which ran for two series. Jefferies has also filmed two HBO hour comedy specials.

Jefferies is currently touring US arenas with his hit live show Day Streaming. This follows a recent successful Australian run earlier this year. The dates at the Academy in Brixton are his biggest UK shows to date.

Jefferies' forthright and opinionated gigs have sometimes divided audiences, and even led to a violent out-burst at the Manchester Comedy Store which went viral.

In Day Streaming he will be discussing a range of topics including the trial of Oscar Pistorius, with him acting out the night in question. There is also a routine on what Jefferies thinks of American gun laws and their constitution (which was also covered on episode 12 of season 2 of Legit). On top of that you will also get to hear his views on idiots, obscenity and his recent conquests and failures.
