Comedian Nabil Abdulrashid has landed a place in this year's Britain's Got Talent semi-finals after judge Alesha Dixon pressed the Golden Buzzer without hesitating.
The 34-year-old Croydon-based comic found the funny side of being a Muslim on London today, quipping that he looks more like a Marlon or Babatunde and that his phone calls were monitored but he still had to pay the full bill.
Dixon went straight for the buzzer and then hugged him and said: “That was amazing. That was so good on so many levels. Congratulations, well done.”
David Walliams said: “Your writing is perfect, your delivery is perfect. I want to say thank you for coming on this show and bringing this style of humour.”
Abdulrashid is the latest comedian to appear on this year's series. Liverpool baptist minister and stand-up Alan Finnegan got through alongside Steve Royle. Clare Harrison McCartney got four nos from the judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden.
