Comedian Mo Gilligan's new C4 show was hit by a last-minute major technical problem on Monday night and could not go out as planned. Instead the entertainer put on a spontaneous show on his Instragam live feed and raised money for the charity Crisis.
Mo Gilligan’s All Star Happy Hour had been trailed on the channel shortly before broadcast wth guests lined up including Jason Manford. But at 10pm when it should have broadcasting direct from Gilligan's south London home, the channel broadcast an episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown instead.
The host posted a message on social media saying that he would do a show on Instagram and whatever people donated to charity he would match. The programme quickly raised over £1000.
Elsewhere Gilligan has posted a comedy clip imagining what it would be like if his Roadman character appeared on Britain's Got Talent. Watch below.
