And the response from the performers has been as enthusiastic as that of the show’s audience –
“I have absolutely loved being part of the contest. It’s spurred me on to write some more music ready for later in the year. It was one of the campest and funniest hours I've had watching the show. Really brilliant fun.” Divina De Campo
“Taking part in The Isolation Song Contest was an experience that tore at my very soul. It took me to the very edge of my limits and beyond, far beyond into a realm the terrifyingly unknown. It left me emptied, exhausted, unable to move, speak, eat, sleep, make love or go to the lavatory. I enjoyed it very much.” Jacques Soufflé (Kevin Eldon)
“This has been a wonderful and exciting experience from start to finish. I’d like to thank the artist Timotay for realising my vision. Plans to tour Romania off the back of this song are being considered.” Tim Vine
Everyone involved in the project has given their time and skills for free to help raise as much money as possible for The Trussell Trust, Crisis and Refuge.
