Some of the biggest names in UK entertainment and sport have united to design pin badges which can then be bought and given to someone to say a heartfelt and personal thank you for their support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Joe Lycett is one of the contributors, alongside Keira Knightley, Ringo Starr, David James MBE, Dame Sarah Storey, Anoushka Shankar, Ian Berry and more.
#PinYourThanks was born out of experiences from volunteering groups. The volunteer-run, not-for-profit UK initiative is on a mission to say a big thank you to anyone who has made a difference to their community by helping someone in need of support during these difficult past few months.
Multi-award winning singer and songwriter Emeli Sandé is the latest pin badge designer. The concept of her design focused on unity, holding each other in union and the symbology of love, as she believes that is what is going to get people through these difficult times.
All badges can be bought for £5 on www.pinyourthanks.org. Each pin badge gift giver is given the opportunity to leave a heartfelt message for the recipient when they order their chosen ‘People’s Medal’. All profits go to Volunteering Matters and NHS Charities Together*.
