The next series of Live at the Apollo will not be until 2021. 

The stand-up show is usually recorded at the venue in September but the decision has been taken to press pause on recordings at the moment due to Covid19.

A spokesperson said: "In light of the current social distancing measures affecting theatres in the UK, Live at The Apollo will not be filmed this year. Whilst this news will be disappointing for viewers, the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in the show is our number one priority. The good news is that Live at The Apollo will return bigger and brighter in 2021 for its 16th series, once again welcoming the cream of established and up-and-coming comedy stars to the Apollo stage."
