News: 2021 Tour for Sindhu Vee

Interview: Sindhu Vee

Fresh from appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You and Channel 4’s award-nominated Feel Good, Sindhu Vee has announced a brand new 50-date UK tour, starting in May 2021 and running until September 2021. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 30th October here.

Sindhu Vee: Alphabet is about the hair we want, the friends we have, and living the vast difference between virus and viral. Expect razor sharp, unapologetic stand-up from one of comedy’s most engaging talents.

Sindhu has fast become one of the most exciting and sought-after comedians on the UK circuit. In 2018 Sindhu took her eagerly anticipated debut hour, Sandhog, to the Edinburgh Fringe and was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. After the Fringe, Sindhu took Sandhog to the Soho Theatre for two sold-out runs before embarking on a hugely successful UK tour.

Her television career is also firmly on the up. She has twice appeared on BBC Two’s Live at the Apollo, most recently as host, and has guested on BBC panel shows Mock the Week, QI and Have I Got News for You. In 2020, Sindhu also acted in the critically acclaimed shows Feel Good (Netflix/Channel 4) and Sex Education (Netflix).

In 2018 Sindhu wrote and hosted her own series, Sindhustan, on Radio 4. She returned to the station this summer with her new series, Things My Mother Never Told Me (…About Lockdown) and also co-hosts the Child Labour podcast with Stuart Goldsmith for Radio X.
