More Podcasts have been added to the bill of Podcast Stop, the new Podcast Festival for London. Podcast Stop will take place in 2021 at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in February and March 2021.
The latest additions to the Podcast Stop include Daniel Sloss and Kai Humphries On The Road on February 14 (pictured) – the two comedians have done the show in Europe but never in the UK.
Also added to the bill is a live outing for No Such Thing As A Fish - fresh off the back of global tours, 250 million downloads, three books, two TV series and several months working from home, the NSTAAF team return to the stage for a live episode of their multi-award-winning hit podcast. Join James Harkin, Anna Ptaszynski, Andrew Hunter Murray and Dan Schreiber as they serve up the most bizarre, extraordinary and hilarious facts they’ve found in the last seven days.
Confirmed podcasts for Podcast Stop already include the previously announced Telling Everybody Everything (Katherine Ryan), We Can’t Talk About That Right Now (Bebe and Jessie Cave), The Socially Distant Sports Bar (Elis James, Mike Bubbins and Steff Garrero), When No One’s Watching (Matt Richardson and Matt Willis), The Guilty Feminist (Deborah Frances-White), Spooktown With Guests All Killa No Filla (Ed Easton and Kath Hughes), Parapod (Barry Dodds and Ian Boldsworth) and Rice To Meet You (Nigel Ng and Evelyn Mok) with more to be announced soon.
Talking about the thriving U.K. podcast landscape Live Nation Comedy Promoter, Anna Cooke said “The U.K. podcast market is exciting and vibrant. We are delighted to be launching this Festival and presenting some great shows. We expect to be announcing more live podcasts over the next few weeks”
“We know the audiences at our UK music Festivals Latitude, Reading, Leeds Download Wilderness and Electric Picnic are big consumers of podcasts. Likewise with audiences at our European music Festivals such as Lowlands and Pinkpop. So it was always our intention to add a Podcast strand to our European Comedy Stop Festivals in Oslo, Copenhagen Paris Helsinki, Stockholm and The Netherlands. Launching this strand in London is the first step before we take live podcasts across Europe” said Ian Coburn, Live Nation President European Comedy Touring.
Podcast Stop will see some of the U.K.’s most listened to podcasts take the stage whilst complying with all official guidelines. The complete line-up for Podcast Stop at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town will be announced in due course.
