Due the Brexit news the schedule for this has changed. Part 1 of ‘Excuse Me, Are You John Shuttleworth?’ has been moved to Christmas Day at 6.15pm. Part 2 will now air on Monday 28th December at 6.15pm. "Slightly annoying," tweeted Graham Fellows.
For once the actor, writer and musician Graham Fellows will appear as himself in a special two-part series for BBC Radio 4. Graham narrates his life in and out of character, and is joined by his creations John Shuttleworth and Brian Appleton. The two part series will be broadcast on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day .
Amongst other stories he tells of how he ended up with a Number four hit single at the tender age of eighteen , a missed encounter with Morrissey , being the landlord to the international acting star Mark Rylance and who does really voice the Shuttleworth family on the hit BBC Radio 4 series The Shuttleworths .
Graham Fellows is the creator of several comedy characters including John Shuttleworth, Brian Appleton and Dave Tordoff. As an actor he has appeared as two characters in Coronation Street, in the last ever episode of Heartbeat and in the acclaimed comedy series Ideal.
As John Shuttleworth he has recently appeared in the UK Gold series Ricky and Ralph Go Off, as well as squaring up to Count Arthur Strong in the eponymously named TV Series.
His second and latest book Two Margerines and Other Domestic Dilemmas, published by Omnibus Press, is available online and from all good bookshops.
