Australian comedian Steen Raskopoulos has launched a new podcast. Congrats on the new...launches with a double-bill of improv comedy interviews.
Host Raskopoulos is joined by Australian superstar comedian Hamish Blake (Hamish & Andy, Ralph Breaks The Internet) in episode one, and by Hollywood megastar Olivia Munn (X-Men, The Newsroom) in episode two.
Each episode features a friend from the entertainment industry attempting to promote their new film, tv show, book, app or diet plan. The twist is, it’s made up. Steen will be asking questions on a completely invented project while his guests have to improvise answers as best as they can.
Producers Turtle Canyon Comedy will be releasing the podcast through Global and have lined up an incredible twelve episodes for this first series. Steen is a master of improv, appearing on Whose Line Is It Anyway? (Australia) and running his own sell-out improv shows in the UK and Australia, from which this podcast was born. Steen expertly guides the guest through the interview, adding to their answers and helping to create a unique and hilarious show each time.
Steen Raskopoulos is married to comedian Sara Pascoe. In our house we call them Pascoe and Rasko. They got married before lockdown and he appeared in her recent BBC sitcom Out Of Her Mind as her brother. Steen Raskopoulous also appeared alongside Katherine Ryan in her netflix series The Duchess as Ryan's boyfriend.
Congrats on the new… Series One is made up of 12 episodes, with guests including: Lolly Adefope, Rhys Darby, Lou Sanders, Ronny Chieng, Rainsford and Abandoman.
