The line-up for this week's run of Richard Osman's House of Games has been confirmed.
Competing are The Last Leg's Alex Brooker, comedian/writer David Baddiel, presenter Charlotte Hawkins and comedian Sophie Duker
Comedians have been doing pretty, pretty well on the programme recently, with Angela Barnes smashing various records and winning all five of her episodes and Isy Suttie also being the overall victor when when she appeared in November. Josie Long also won her week in December. Last week Tim Key was the overall winner. Previous winners in this series include Neil Delamere, Rufus Hound and Stephen Mangan. No pressure on Baddiel and Duker then...
Baddiel's CV takes in everything from serious writing and novels to having senior moments in the ninth series of Taskmaster in 2019. His rescheduled Trolls: Not The Dolls tour is due to resume this Spring, though it is possible given the current Covid-19 situation that some of the dates may have to be moved again. Current details here.
Sophie Duker is very much a rising star of comedy. She was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer prize for her debut show Venus in 2019. She was recently seen on TV in the science one-off, The Science(ish) of Stranger Things with Rick Edwards and Dr Michael Brooks.
