Following its return last week with a 90-minute special,  award-winning show The Last Leg returns to its normal one hour running time and normal kick-off time at 10pm on Channel 4 on Friday night.

Regular hosts Josh Widdicombe, Alex Brooker and Adam Hills will once again tickle the funny bone, tackle the hot potato issues of the day, ask #isitok and chat to their guests.

This week they are joined by two increasingly popular comedians Maisie Adam and Tom Davis.

Brighton-based stand-up comedian Adam is on an amazing run at the moment, having appeared on Would I Lie To You? and Mock The Week as well as this week's Richard Osman's House of Games (which at the time of writing she looks like winning overall, having wn three days out of four so far – update, of course she won). Adam – not Adams – also narrates the new reality TV series on ITV2, The Cabins. I'm guessing The Last Leg team may well want to ask her about her stylish and distinctive mod/ska/skin hairstyle/haircut.

The Yorkshire-born comic won the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 and in 2018 won the Amused Moose National New Comic competition and was shortlisted for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer Award. If her face looks familiar you may also have spotted her as one of the comedians in a past Nationwide advertising campaign.

Tom Davis was back at Christmas with a one-off special for his sitcom King Gary. He was also in the Cinderella panto by Richard Curtis over Christmas. Davis also has plans to return to live stand-up - when that becomes a realistic possibility. He is currently due to appear alongside John Bishop, Al Murray, James Acaster, Judi Love and Rob Beckett at an open air comedy gig at Wicksteed Open Air Theatre.
