Comedian Angela Barnes is setting out to do 3000 sit ups during March to raise money for the Royal Marsden Hospital.
The Brighton-based comedian has decided to do this to support the hospital because it has been looking after her friend and fellow stand-up Phil Jerrod, who has been undergoing cancer treatment.
Barnes says: "The Royal Marsden are brilliant, and I'd love it if you could support them.
Now, I really hate sit-ups, I mean, look at me, of course I do. So what better way to grow to love them than by trying to do 3000 of them in a month? THREE THOUSAND I mean that's about 100 a day. Oh what have I done...?
My fella has agreed (a bit too eagerly if you ask me) to be my counter to make sure I don't cheat, and I'll post some vids and reports of my progress
I'm hoping by the end of it to have a set of abs to rival Joel Dommett, but much more important than that, I want to raise a load of money for the awesome Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. They are obviously close to my heart and they do incredible things."
