First the bad news. It's the last episode in the current series of Would I Lie To You? tonight. And now the good news. It's an outtakes episode and it includes some previously unseen footage of national treasure in waiting Bob Mortimer.
Who can ever forget his story earlier in the series about aiding Grand Prix driver Damon Hill with a scotch egg/pocket meat in the run-up to a vital race. Or his previous riffs about DIY dentistry, breaking an apple in half and cracking a raw egg into his bath, courtesy of Chris Rea.
Basically, a rough outtake from Bob should be greater than most people's finely honed shaggy dog stories. And you can see for yourselves tonight.
Also featured on the show are bits and bobs from Claudia Winkleman, Dan Walker, AJ Odudu, Samantha Morton, Miles Jupp, Roisin Conaty, Sara Barron, Chris McCausland, Gemma Cairney, Sara Pascoe, Mr Motivator, Ed Gamble, Reverend Kate Bottley, Sophie Hermann, Dr Xand van Tulleken and Sindhu Vee. Which does suggest we might be getting the usual full stories if they are going to squeeze all of that lot in.
Plus, of course, regulars Rob Brydon, David Mitchell and Lee Mack.
Oh, and did we mention that there is some Bob Mortimer on it. That's right, Bob Mortimer.
Would I Lie To You? Monday, March 8, 8.30pm, BBC Two.
