Tickets for shows at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe will be available to book on Thursday, 1 July.
Shows at this year's festival – which will run from 6 – 30 August – will fall into three broad formats:
- live in-person events that meet government safety guidelines
- scheduled or as-live online performances that give a live experience of happening at a stated date and time
- online on-demand shows which can be viewed any time throughout the Fringe, from any time zone around the world.
More shows may be added through July and August. Some shows are already on sale - the Corn Exchange venue featuring shows from Daniel Sloss, Craig Hill and more is already selling tickets - in fact some of their shows are already sold out. More details here.
In keeping with sustainability aims and public safety measures, this year's Fringe will be fully e-ticketed.
