Comedian Rosie Holt has released a new comedy video in which her comic creation addresses the recently stories in the news in which Boris Johnson was described as being ambushed by cakke and why the publication of Sue Gray's report may now have to be delayed.

In the clip Holt's character attempts to explain the delay in the publication of Sue Gray's report and asks: "Was I part of an ambush or an optical illusion?"

Holt's previous satirical video clip in which she played an MP explaining that she doesn't know if she attended a party at Downing Street went viral. Some people even thought it was genuine.

Historian Simon Schama called it "total genius" and Gary Lineker realised it was a joke and posted a tears-of-laughter emoji, but Henry Bolton OBE tweeted: "Oh dear. I’ve frequently bemoaned the quality of our parliamentarians but this interview surprises even me. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear…" Although some people wondered if Henry Bolton's Twitter account was a parody.

And Peter Wall tweeted: "...Until an investigation has been completed & the conclusion to that investigation is that it was indeed a ‘party’ then she cannot confirm what type of activity she was present at & included in." It was not clear if his answer was an elaborate spoof answer or if he thought the clip was a genuine interview.

The new clip has quickly been shared widely including by musician Curtis Stigers, who called it "Brilliant satire as usual from Miss Holt." and then added "You will note that I now preface it by pointing out that it’s satire so we don’t have to deal with the dipshittery."
