A number of top comedians are lined up to appear at the Laugharne Weekend arts festival in South Wales at the end of March.
The unmissable intimate festival mixes literary events and musical events and more with artists and performers rubbing shoulders with their audiences in the small town where Dylan Thomas once lived. Tickets are almost sold out but there are still a few available. Purchase of a weekend ticket enables you to get into all events at the festival (space permitting).
The line-up this year includes Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Jen Brister, Nick Revell, Mark Thomas and Fast Show star-turned-author Charlie Higson.
Robin Ince will reprise his 2021 Linda Smith lecture, which involved talking and smashing a watermelon. The Linda Smith Lecture was established in 2015 as an annual event to celebrate the much missed comedian’s life and work and to reflect on the comedy business.
Jon Ronson will be among the writers appearing at the Weekend this year.
Amber Marks will be talking about her book about her father Howard Marks, Becoming Mr Nice.
Regular Laugharne visitor, Turner Prize winner Jeremy Dellar will be back too. Plus Irvine Welsh, Hollie McNish and many more names still to be announced.
This year's Laugharne Weekend runs from March 25 - 27. Tickets and information here.
