As the nation collectively heads back to the office after two years of working from home, TV channel Dave has celebrated the return to work with a series of fun films highlighting the issue employees face adapting to life back in the real world.
From the joys of the daily commute to the awkwardness of social reintegration - the daily dilemmas of working life are highlighted in vivid detail, with commentary from comedian Darren Harriott.
Kicking off with remembering the actual journey to work, Dave reminds us how much fun a packed tube train is – from dealing with manspreading to finding your face in another passenger’s armpit!
Interacting with long-lost colleagues is a challenge in itself, as we work out the correct way to greet each other in a post pandemic world - a fist bump or a handshake? A hug or an elbow tap?
And the photos of family and loved ones at our desks have been replaced by photos of our beds - revealing just what we miss most being back in the office.
Dressing for meetings and maintaining exercise regimes are also explored in the series of short films which are released today across Dave’s social channels.
Dave channel director, Cherie Cunningham said: “At Dave, we’re aware the return to the office might take a bit of time to adapt to. In true Dave style, we’re here to remind everyone that we’re all in this together, and as great as it is seeing everyone again, there are some things about being back in the office that we’ve missed more than others!”
