The capital’s biggest comedy spectacular Greenwich Comedy Festival presented by heycar returns to the grounds of the iconic National Maritime Museum from 14-18th September with a series of open-air shows starring the absolute best names in comedy.
This year’s unrivalled programme stars British Comedy Award winner STEWART LEE, the inimitable FRANKIE BOYLE, legendary DYLAN MORAN, acclaimed SINDHU VEE, Qi’s ALAN DAVIES, Netflix star KERRY GODLIMAN, one-liner king MILTON JONES and the masterful SIMON AMSTELL to name just a few.
Each show bursts with brilliance with festival favourites like DAVID O’DOHERTY, ROSIE JONES, SOPHIE DUKER, JAMALI MADDIX and TIM KEY lighting up the night alongside the very best in breakthrough talents such as CHLOE PETTS, CELYA AB, FATIHA EL-GHORRI and JOSH PUGH.
For five nights comedy-lovers from across London and beyond will be getting their annual comedy fix with these masterfully curated mixed-bill shows.
The critically-acclaimed festival, now in its fourteenth year, combines unbeatable comedy line-ups with a tastemaker’s selection at the bar and food by local street-food marvels, all under the stunning backdrop of Royal Greenwich.
The festival is produced by the Greenwich-raised sibling team Will Briggs and Cass Randolph of 57 Festivals. The pair are looking forward to getting back to their old stomping ground. “Everything started for us in Greenwich.” says Cass. “We launched this festival fourteen years ago and have since branched out to other locations across the UK, but Greenwich will always be our home.” Will says “We’ve got so many incredible shows this year, with comedy legends such as Stewart Lee and Frankie Boyle starring alongside hotly-tipped acts like Chloe Petts and Celya AB who are destined for greatness , every show is going to be incredible.”
